The St. Vincent de Paul Society provides emergency assistance to individuals and families in need.
 
Assistance is provided for utility bills, perscription drugs, clothing and other emergency needs as funds are available. Clients are generally eligible for assistance on an annual basis. The society also operates a food bank and emergency food is provided on a monthly basis as long as supplies are available.

Annual Financial Assistance Eligibility
 
There are eight St. Vincent de Paul Conferences in Lee County. The St. Francis Xavier/St. Therese Conference provides assistance for those who reside within the following boundaries.  (In North Fort Myers, Slater Road on the East and Cape Coral city limits on the West; the Northern boundary is the Charlotte County line and the Southern boundary is Carrell Avenue in Fort Myers)
 
Monthlty Food Assistance Eligibility
 
Monthly food assistance is provided to residents of Lee County.

Office Hours

 
The Society is open Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for food distribution and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for financial assistance. We are located at the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Grand Avenue in downtown Fort Myers. No appointment is necessary.

Documentation Requirements
 
Clients requesting assitance should bring a photo ID and a copy of their current utility bill, drug perscription or other documents that relate to the nature of their request.
